Vintage 1970s Cottage Core Maxi Dress, Vtg Prairie style Floral Long Dress, VTG 70s Chiffon Puff Sleeve Gown, Cream White flocked Dress, XL

This is a beautiful 1970s maxi gown in a larger size that can be hard to find in true vintage! This gown can be described as a take on early 1900s Victorian style, or a more formal take on a prairie dress. The body is made of a somewhat stiff synthetic blend, while the long puff sleeves and the ruffle collar are a soft thin chiffon. This dress is cream, not stark white, with a sweet floral print of delicate violet and lilac flowers with pale pistachio green stems and leaves. This dress is a true A-line from the bust down, with zipper in the back and double snap closures on the sleeve cuffs at the wrist. There is 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch of fabric that could be let out of the hem. This dress appears to be handmade, and the floral fabric at the shoulders beneath the chiffon sleeve has started to fray so should be ironed down prior to wearing.

Condition: Great! There is a faint discoloration on the lower front of the dress as well as a long thin rusty brown water stain on the back of the dress near the bottom hem shown in the video. There is also very slight show of wear on the chiffon sleeves at the armpit, and a few very tiny speckle stains throughout that can be seen in the close up photo of the fabric. Overall, this item is in near perfect condition!
