This late 1930s early 1940s rayon silk maxi slip hangs beautifully and is just stunning! This silky, slinky nightgown is a peach/pink and has a beautiful rose embossed detail. This late 30s early 40s negligee is full length and cut on the bias. There are two adorable raspberry pink velvet bows that adorn the neckline. The shoulders have a very wide sleeveless cut that is not quite a cap sleeve. Two long strings hang from below the bust to be tied in the back and cinch the dress for a more secure fit. The smocking below the bust is not elastic and does not stretch.
This lovely slip can be worn as a dress or a nightgown! Also perfect for lounging around the house in style, or being sexy in the boudoir!

Condition: Great! There is a large yet faint water stain towards the bottom front side of the dress but is not very noticeable when wearing, and there is a bit of wear on one of the seams in the back, both shown in photos. There are also just a few very small marks on the dress, pointed out in the video. Otherwise, this slip dress is in excellent condition!
